During installation, and after entering your keycode, Webroot will generate a message asking for Full Disk Access.
Click the Open System Settings button.
The preferences window should display the Full Disk Access menu under Privacy & Security.
Toggle Webroot SecureAnywhere and WSDaemon, if present.
If Webroot SecureAnywhere is not present, click the [ + ] button at the bottom of the listed applications. Within the Finder Window, navigate to Applications > Webroot SecureAnywhere to add Webroot to the list.
Note: On older macOS versions, such as Big Sur and Catalina, you will need to click the lock icon before you can check or toggle applications within the Full Disk Access menu.
Apple will prompt you for your password to enable Full Disk Access for Webroot.
When prompted to Quit & Reopen, select the option before closing System Preferences and returning to Webroot.
Click Next within Webroot to continue the installation and scan.
Open System Settings using one of the methods below:
Click Privacy & Security > Full Disk Access.
