This April 2019 release adds new capabilities to help administrators successfully launch and manage highly effective user training across multiple sites and their entire user base.

New features in this release include

1. Global Management Dashboard:
A new, single-pane-of-glass management dashboard within the management console, which shows campaigns that are in progress or completed across all client sites. The new dashboard provides an overview of recent campaign statistics and details including: campaign type, owner, duration / date, site(s), activity status, and actions.

2. Global Campaigns:
A new four-step workflow for launching campaigns globally within the management console. New phishing or training campaigns can be launched across multiple client sites, or for a single site in one workflow.
Please note: Template customization are still managed from within the Learning Management console, but a follow-up release is planned to support template editing directly within the new Global Management Dashboard.

New reports have been added to the management console Reporting tab that enable administrators to report across all client sites or individual client sites. This January 2019 release incorporates valuable enhancements with the goal of delivering high quality security awareness training effectively and efficiently.

2. Lure Page Enhancements:
An enhancement to lure page handling that now presents lure pages as an screenshot image as opposed to HTML form fields.  This improves manageability and reduces blocking issues with Google Safe Browsing.

3. New Menu Layout:
The SAT administrative menu has been expanded to improve navigation and manageability.

4. New Poster Content:
A new content type has been added with 12 new security awareness posters available for download and distribution.
SAT posters are a valuable addition to any awareness training program and can be used as training reminders on a number of relevant topics. Consider distributing them physically throughout an office or electronically via email or web.

Console Changes for WSAT -  October 16th 2018

Overview
This is the 5th release of OpenText™ Core Security Awareness Training since we launched late November last year and incorporates valuable enhancements that will make using SAT and delivering high quality security awareness training more effective and efficient.

New features in this release include

1. Phishing Simulation Tests – Delivery Randomization:
This new feature allows the administrator to randomize the delivery of phishing simulation emails. It ensures recipients don’t receive simulation tests at the same time, and testing more accurately reflects real-life phishing attacks. The randomized delivery is set under ‘Advanced Options’ and simulation tests may be spread over a set number of days, within a set overall time frame, or within “working hours”.

2. ‘User Import’ using LDIF or CSV via a secure API:
SAT now supports the import of awareness training ‘Users’ via LDIF files. The LDIF files are uploaded using a web uploader, or sent directly via a OpenText™ Core Endpoint Protection SAT API using HTTPS. A sample PowerShell script is provided within the application, which calls LDIFDE and sends an LDIF file to OpenText™ Core Endpoint Protection via HTTPS using a secure token. Administrators may also modify the PowerShell script to apply any filters they wish to use and to schedule the user uploads to run on an automated basis.

3. Easier Image Upload and Management:
This release brings a new way of managing images via an image uploader and selector. This allows an Administrator to easily upload images that will be used later within email, web training and phishing templates.

4. Automated Reminders:
We have enhanced the existing reminder feature (where an Administrator could manually send reminders during a training campaign) to now automatically send reminders on a daily or weekly basis as part of the setup process of a training campaign. The automated daily/weekly reminder feature is found within the ‘Advanced Options’ of the training campaign wizard and is enabled once a start and end date is set. Note: This feature is grayed out until the start/end dates are set.

5. New Training Courses and Templates:
We are adding new courses and have updated the existing Data Protection course. The new courses are:
1. New – IT Security for Remote worker course
2. New - GDPR express course
3. New – Ransomware 3 course series:
i. Intro to Ransomware
ii. Ransomware and Cybercrime
iii. Ransomware Types - Acts and Obligations
4. Updated – Data Protection 2017

We’ve also added 25 new templates and web lure pages with new email templates and lures for each geographic region.

Customers can now view previews of any training courses available from within the console. Note: trials will still be limited to the Understanding Malware course, with unlimited phishing simulations.

We have added seven new cybersecurity training courses and four bonus IT skills courses that cover the primary Microsoft® Office applications. We have also re-added HIPAA Privacy and Security, as well as new, regionally focused phishing templates for Australia, Ireland, and the UK.

Upcoming enhancements
We plan to modify the Global Site Manager console to feature a new Trials page, where administrators can start trials without having to secure a license.
1. Multi-Campaign Scheduling
Our new scheduling feature set, called “Programs”, allows admins to automate and schedule campaign tasks. Tasks include sending a Welcome Email to introduce Security Awareness Training or announce to management or employees that a new campaign has been scheduled. Additionally, phishing campaigns and training campaigns can be scheduled and automated.

To begin a new program, click Programs --> Create a new Program. You can then name your program, add a description, and begin scheduling tasks. Optional: you can also use the Email Reports feature to send campaign summary reports to any email address(es) you choose.
