It may be helpful to verify that a scan happened or is actively happening on a Mac, when using OpenText™ Core Endpoint Protection. This can be done directly from the Mac in question or can be done using the OpenText™ Management Console.
 
Viewing scan activity directly from the Mac 
  1. Open the OpenText™ Core Endpoint Protection app, it will be in the Applications folder.
  2. The OpenText™ Core Endpoint Protection GUI shows scan activity, including if any active scans are running now.
  3. For any active scans, you can view progress by clicking View Scan Progress.
The OpenText™ Core Endpoint Protection GUI also displays:
 
Viewing scan activity remotely using the OpenText™ Management Console
  1. Log into the OpenText™ Management Console.
     
  2. Using Entities, locate the site that contains the device and click the site name to display the devices for the site.
     
    Tip: You can use the Search for... box in the top to help find a device.
     
  3. Click the device name to display more information about the device:
    • The Summary tab shows information about threats detected among other helpful information.
       
    • The Scan History tab shows scan activity and results.
