It may be helpful to verify that a scan happened or is actively happening on a Mac, when using Webroot Business Endpoint Protection. This can be done directly from the Mac in question or can be done using the Webroot Management console.
Viewing scan activity directly from the Mac
- Open the Webroot SecureAnywhere app, it will be in the Applications folder.
- The Webroot GUI shows scan activity, including if any active scans are running now.
- For any active scans, you can view progress by clicking View Scan Progress.
The Webroot GUI also displays:
- Last scan: The time the last scan was completed
- Last scan duration: The amount of time the last scan took to complete
- Next scan:
- If actively scanning, will show Scanning…
- If not scanning, will show the next time a scan is scheduled to run
- Total scans: The total number of scans completed since the agent was installed
Viewing scan activity remotely using the Webroot Management console
- Log into the Webroot Management console.
- Using Entities, locate the site that contains the device and click the site name to display the devices for the site.
Tip: You can use the Search for... box in the top to help find a device.
- Click the device name to display more information about the device:
- The Summary tab shows information about threats detected among other helpful information.
- The Scan History tab shows scan activity and results.
