To prevent or resolve mail delivery issues when using Webroot Security Awareness Training with Proofpoint Essentials, you can create a filter in Proofpoint to allow the mail sent from Webroot's email servers.
The Webroot mail server information is specified in
this article.
Follow these instructions to add a filter to allow email from Webroot's email servers:
- Navigate to Security Settings > Email > Filter Policies.
- On the Inbound tab, click New Filter.
- Enter a descriptive Filter Name.
- For Direction, select Inbound (it should have defaulted to the tab being used for the procedure).
- Click Continue.
- For Scope, select Company.
- For the first condition (If statement):
- Select Email Headers from the drop-down list of message elements.
- Select Contain(s) Any Of from the drop-down list of operators.
- Enter all of the Webroot Training and Phishing email server IP addresses. The Webroot mail server information is specified in this article.
- For Action (Do statement), from the drop-down list select Allow.
- Click Save.
