You can reactivate deactivated devices for Webroot Business Endpoint Protection using the Webroot Management console. This is helpful if you have deactivated a device by mistake or for any other reason.

Note: Once a device has been reactivated, the agent needs to be re-installed for it report into the Webroot Management console and be fully protected.

Reactivated devices will be placed in the Group they were in when they were deactivated.

To reactivate an endpoint:

  1. Log in to the Webroot Management console.

  2. In the left nav bar, click Entities

  3. In the Sites & Groups list, find and click the Site name that contains the devices to reactivate.

  4. Look for and click the Deactivated Endpoint group to display the list of deactivated devices.

  5. Check the box for the devices to reactivate, then click Reactivate in the top bar.

Note: If the Deactivated Devices group has zero entries, no devices have been deactivated for this site.

  6. Now that the endpoints have been reactivated, you need to reinstall the Webroot agent to get them to report into the console and be fully protected.
