This solution addresses Webroot SecureAnywhere Business – Endpoint Protection
If an endpoint is not checking in to the Online Management Console, you can force it to ping the cloud database which will cause it to check in.
To force an immediate poll for Windows:
Locally from the endpoint:
1. Locate the SecureAnywhere icon in the system tray.
2. Right-click the icon and select "Refresh Configuration".
To poll via command line option, use the appropriate command:
For 32bit Operating Systems, type:
"C:\Program Files\Webroot\WRSA.exe" -poll
For 64bit Operating Systems, type:
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Webroot\WRSA.exe" -poll
To force an immediate poll for macOS:
- For Catalina and later, use the terminal command:
sudo /Applications/Webroot\ SecureAnywhere.app/Contents/MacOS/WSDaemon.app/Contents/MacOS/WSDaemon -poll
- For any other version of macOS, use the terminal command:
sudo /usr/local/bin/WSDaemon -poll
