You can reactivate deactivated devices for OpenText™ Core Endpoint Protection using the OpenText™ Management Console. This is helpful if you have deactivated a device by mistake or for any other reason.
Reactivated devices will be placed in the Group they were in when they were deactivated.
To reactivate an endpoint:
- Log in to the OpenText™ Management Console.
- In the left nav bar, click Entities.
- In the Sites & Groups list, find and click the Site name that contains the devices to reactivate.
- Look for and click the Deactivated Endpoint group to display the list of deactivated devices.
- Check the box for the devices to reactivate, then click Reactivate in the top bar.
Note: If the Deactivated Devices group has zero entries, no devices have been deactivated for this site.
- Now that the endpoints have been reactivated, you need to reinstall the OpenText™ Core Endpoint Protection to get them to report into the console and be fully protected.
