You can use the the Webroot Management console to apply Endpoint and DNS Protection policies to devices or Groups. When you apply policies to a Group and move a device into that Group, the device will inherit those policies.

+To apply a policy to a device:
  1. Log into the Webroot management console.
     
  2. In the left nav bar, click Entities.
     
  3. In the Sites & Groups list, find and click the Site name that contains the devices you want to modify.
     
  4. Check the boxes for the devices, then click Change Policy at the top of the screen to open the Change Policy window.
     
  5. In the Change Policy window, use the Endpoint Policy and DNS Policy drop-down menus to select the new policies. 
     
  6. Click Change Policy to update the device's policies.
     
  7. Policy changes are received and processed during the polling interval assigned to the endpoint policy for that device.

+To apply a policy to a Group:
You can set a Group up to inherit the Site policy or use any policy you want. When moving devices into a Group, you are prompted to decide if the devices should inherit the Group's policy or retain their policy settings.
  1. Log into the Webroot management console.
     
  2. In the left nav bar, click Entities.
     
  3. In the Sites & Groups list, find and click the caret next to the Site name to show the Groups for that Site.
     
  4. Select the Group to modify, then at the top of the Sites & Groups column, click the button that looks like a pencil and a piece of paper to edit the Group's policy settings. Hovering your mouse over the icon will show 'Edit Group'.
     
  5. The default settings for both types of policies - Endpoint Protection and DNS Protection - is Inherit policy from group / site.
     
  6. Use the drop-down menus for each policy type to select the policies you would like to use.
     
  7. Click Edit Group to save changes.
