This solution addresses Webroot SecureAnywhere for macOS 10.10 and higher

You can install SecureAnywhere on macOS 10.10 and above. An Internet connection is required to install the software.

To install the software:
  1. Click here to reach SecureAnywhere installer for your Mac.
  2. Click Download.
  1. In the bottom right corner of the screen, click Downloads and select wsamac.dmg.
  1. Double-click the Webroot SecureAnywhere icon.
  1. In the pop-up, click Open.
  1. In the Webroot SecureAnywhere pop-up, select your preferred language, and click Next.
  1. Enter your keycode and click Agree and Install
  1. Enter your Macintosh User Name and Password, then click OK
  1. Click Open System Preferences. The System Preferences window will open.

Note: If the System Extension Blocked pop-up appears, move it to the side of the screen. Do not close it, this will be used in step 12.
  1. Under Security and Privacy, click Privacy.
  1. In the apps list on the left, select Full Disk Access
  2. If the padlock icon is locked, click it. Enter your Macintosh User Name and Password, then click Unlock
  1. To the right of the apps list, click the "+" button. A new window will appear.
  2. Click Applications.
  1. Select Webroot SecureAnywhere and click Open
  2. Select the checkbox next to Webroot SecureAnywhere. A pop-up will appear.
  3. Click Quit Now.
  1. Return to the Webroot SecureAnywhere window, and click Next.
  1. Click Install Extension.
  1. In the pop-up, click Open Security Preferences.
  1. In Security & Privacy, select the General Tab.
  1. If the padlock icon is locked, click it. Enter your Macintosh User Name and Password, then click Unlock.
  1. Click Allow.
  2. Return to the Webroot SecureAnywhere pop-up.
  3. Once the pop-up shows Installation finished, click Finish.
