Summary:
You can manage the default payment method and auto-renewal status for all of your subscriptions within
your account.
Note: For security reasons, you cannot edit the details of an existing payment method.

Solution:
- Sign in to your account at https://account.webroot.com.
- Click the Personal Information tab.
- Under Payment Methods, click on Add a Payment Method.

- On the next page, enter all applicable information and click Save.

- Sign in to your account at https://account.webroot.com.
- Click the Subscriptions tab.

Note: The MyAccount portal will appear differently on a mobile device. Select the three lines in the bottom right to bring up the navigation menu, then select Subscriptions.
- The instructions differ based on whether you are enrolled in automatic payments. Choose the option below that applies to you:
- In the Subscriptions tab, find the subscription payment method you want to update.
- If automatic renewal is enabled, click the existing payment method highlighted in blue.

- You will be redirected to the Change Payment Method screen. Select a payment method from the drop-down or choose Add a Payment Method.

- If using a new payment method, fill in the required information, check the box next to "I'm not a robot", and click Save.
- Your new payment method will now be the default for future renewals.
- In the Subscriptions tab, find the subscription payment method you want to renew or upgrade.
- If automatic renewal is not enabled, click "Renew/Upgrade" highlighted in blue under the Product column.

- You will be redirected to the renewal and upgrade page.

- After making your selection, the checkout page will display your selected renewal/upgrade for review.
- In the "Pay With" drop-down, select the desired payment method or add a new payment method, and click "Review Order" to proceed.
- Check the box next to "I confirm and validate that the information I have supplied is true, accurate, and complete. I also agree to Webroot’s Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy" and then click "Complete my purchase".
Note: By default, automatic renewal is enabled when manually renewing or upgrading.
- In the Subscriptions tab, find the subscription payment method you want to update.
- Click "Options" highlighted in blue under the Manage column.

- In the auto-renewal pop-up, if auto-renewal is not enabled, the "Turn ON Auto-Renewal" option will be present.

If auto-renewal is enabled, you will be provided with steps on our Opt Out of Auto-renewal process.

- Turning on auto-renewal will redirect you to the Change Payment Method screen, allowing you to select the payment method for auto-renewal. After selecting the desired payment method, click Save.
Note: To disable automatic renewal, please submit a request to
https://www.webroot.com/us/en/auto-renewal-optout.
At the bottom of the page, you must enter your subscription keycode, check the box next to "
Yes, please remove auto renewal from my subscription", and click Submit.
