Summary:

Webroot for Chrome and Safari allows Webroot to generate a block screen when accessing potentially malicious websites on your mobile phone or tablet.

Solution:

  1. Within Webroot Mobile Security, click on Webroot for Chrome/Safari.

     
  2. Toggle Google Chrome Security to ON.
    • For Apple, please see the note at the bottom of this article.
       
  3. Tap on "Open Settings".

     
  4. Tap on Installed apps.

     
  5. Tap Webroot.

     
  6. Toggle Webroot to ON, and tap "Allow".
    • Webroot shortcut is not required.
 
Note: For Apple, follow the on-screen steps. If using iOS 18 or newer, please use the steps below.
  1. Open your Settings app.
     
  2. Tap on Apps.
     
  3. Tap on Safari.
     
  4. Tap on Extensions.
     
  5. Set Webroot to ON.
