Summary:
A new or existing subscription key (Keycode) can be entered into Webroot SecureAnywhere.
- Entering a new keycode reactivates an expired Webroot.
- Entering an existing keycode is a workaround or troubleshooting step for some issues.
Note: Keycodes can only be entered into Webroot SecureAnywhere. Webroot Total Protection does not have this feature and must be reinstalled to apply a new keycode.

Solution:
Activate a New Keycode
You can also use these instructions to change an existing keycode.
If you have Webroot installed with a previous subscription and purchased a new keycode, please follow the steps below to activate a new keycode.
- Open the Webroot program.

- Click the gear icon next to My Account or the Update Keycode button.

- Enter the new keycode in the Activate a New Keycode cell and click Activate.

- Click OK.

- If a scan starts automatically, allow the scan to complete. The new keycode is shown under the My Account section of the User Interface.
